Our mission, purpose, and goal are to bring comfort and encouragement to those in need and to be a reminder of the mercy, peace, and compassion of God's all-embracing love. Don't know how to crochet? No problem! We would love to teach you. We also accept quilted, knitted, and even fleece blankets.

OCIA is the first step in a lifelong journey of discipleship! This is the Catholic Church’s process to bring people, through study, spiritual growth, and community, into the heart of the Holy Mother Church.

The Knights of Columbus will once again host Quentin Flagg at its annual Valentine's Gala at the St. Cecilia Social Hall. Entrance tickets are $15 and include one glass of wine and will be sold at the door. Wine and cheese will be served. Doors open at 6:00 pm; entertainment begins at 7:00 pm. Must be 21 yrs & older to enter. Seating may be limited. The Knights will also be selling Gibault raffle tickets the first two weekends of February. $5.00 for 6 tickets. Grand prize is $5000. Proceeds benefit the Gibault Children's Services.

Enjoy a delicious meal while supporting the youth of our Pastorate as they prepare to attend the 2025 National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in Indianapolis! For just 10$ for adults or 6$ for seniors or children (10 & under), you can enjoy all-you-can-eat soup and salad at Sorrowful Mother. If you’d like to help out to provide soups, salads or salad toppings/dressings, please contact your parish office or Michele Risner at 815-370-1400.

We’ll have snacks, board games, card games, and activities to choose from for ages 1 through 99+ including Yahtzee, Oregon Trail the Board Game, Phase 10, Uno, classic card games, Twister, and much more! Have a game you’d like to share? Bring it and spread the fun! This event is sponsored by the St. Cecilia Ladies Sodality and all are welcome.
